Single-Sign On

Single-sign on allows a user to log in with a non-associated third party account. For example, when you sign into Google Gmail, your account automatically gains access to YouTube, Google Drive, Google Photos and other Google products. Volume has three single-sign on options - Google, Facebook and Twitter.

 

Signing Up With Single-Sign On

  1. When entering Volume, click “Login” at the top right corner of the website
  2. A pop-up will appear with an option to sign in with Facebook, Google or Twitter
  3. After selecting your sign in method, a pop-up will direct you to your selected single-sign on website
  4. After successfully logging in, you will be directed back to Volume to create a username
  5. You may use Volume’s suggested username or type your desired username in the field provided

Account Creation & Adding Single-Sign On

  1. When entering Volume, click “Sign Up” at the top right corner of the website to create a Volume account
  2. After creating your account, click the "Broadcast" tab at the top of the Volume homepage
  3. Click "Settings & Privacy"
  4. Under "Sign in with", choose your selected single-sign on option by clicking "add account"
  5. After selecting your sign in method, a pop-up will direct you to your selected single-sign on website
  6. After successfully logging into your single-sign on, you will be directed back to Volume to create a username
  7. You may use Volume’s suggested username or type your desired username in the field provided

Notes

  • If your account does not have a password set, you will need to set a password before you can remove the account linked for single-sign on.  To set your password, visit Settings & Privacy and click "Change your password"
  • We recommend placing two-factor authentication on your chosen single-sign on account
